Eva and James are an older couple but their energy, excitement, and enthusiasm were still lively when I shot their magnificent wedding. They matched each other’s energy, which produced truly romantic photos. It just goes to show that weddings are for everyone, not just the physically young.
Keavil House Hotel in Dunfermline was their choice of venue. It has a remarkable reputation for hosting wonderful weddings and has 12 acres of well-maintained and landscaped gardens. Not only was this the most perfect backdrop for me to take bespoke photos, but drinks are also offered in the gardens which sure kept the guests contempt. The different coloured trees featured in the Keavil House gardens allowed me to be free in creating different artistic tones and moods for each picture. The country-like theme going on in Keavil House is one to be checked out, no matter the occasion.
The wedding was on the modest side, but the liveliness of the couple’s family and friends had a stupendous influence on making Eva and James’ dream wedding become a huge, realistic success. Everyone was joyous - and ecstatic for the couple. Shortly after the ceremony, they enjoyed a sublime reception.
Finally, we went out with Eva and James to take some photos around the gardens and a few other locations outside the venue. Scotland’s natural beauty paired with the atmospheric cloudiness enabled me to utilize my skills to their full potential and to produce the photos you will see now.
